Following a successful two years in Roath, Silures is opening its second venue this summer, bringing its signature blend of Modern European cooking, premium cocktails and local hospitality to Penarth’s historic Holm House.
Located on Marine Parade, one of the most sought-after streets in Wales, Holm House offers sea views, self-check-in rooms, and a private spa – creating a destination-style setting for Silures’ newest evolution.
Daf Andrews, Co-founder of A&M Hospitality Group said: “Penarth felt like the natural next step – a vibrant town with a strong sense of community and an appetite for quality hospitality. Holm House is a beautiful building, and the rooms, spa and garden offer something truly special. The private dining space and outdoor areas give us more flexibility to host everything from intimate dinners to events and celebrations, while staying true to the Silures experience.”

The brand’s core philosophy remains the same: seasonal produce, elegant but accessible dining, and a drinks programme grounded in quality. The Penarth location will mirror much of what made Silures Roath a success, while embracing the larger footprint and flexibility of Holm House. Guests can expect:
-
A main restaurant seating up to 50
-
A dedicated bar area with room for 25
-
A private dining room for up to 22 guests
-
A garden space that seats 50 or hosts up to 100 standing
The menu will carry over many guest favourites, including the XL jumbo king prawn with chilli & mango salsa; miso-glazed cauliflower with romesco and pistachio; the Silures A2 wagyu burger; and a flambeéd tableside Baked Alaska with white rum.
As with Roath, weekly rituals will be part of the offering – including:
-
Welly Wednesdays with Beef Wellington
-
Thermidor Thursdays with half/whole lobster at 25% off
-
Sunday Roasts with beef sirloin, crispy pork belly and chicken supreme
-
A weekday Set Menu available Wednesday–Saturday (12–3pm and 5–6pm), offering high-quality food at accessible prices
Silures Penarth will open on 11 July.
